Two of our A level history students, Luke and Joel, will be participating in the Great Debate, an annual competition organised by the Historical Association (HA). This event is open to students in years 10-13 across the UK and aims to nurture their interest in history while developing their research and presentation skills. Each year, the HA presents a question that challenges students to conduct research, build an argument, and deliver a compelling presentation.

This year's question is: How can your local history tell a global story? Both Luke and Joel have crafted excellent arguments, and the history department wishes them the best of luck in the local heat, which will take place next week.
