Homework tasks are varied in art. Some tasks are start in lesson, to be finished for homework such as: Project theme title pages Observational drawings Material studies (usually using colour pencil) Design drawings Other tasks set include: Researching, and printing off images linked to the project theme Artist analysis sheets Copying an image worksheet Completing a technique worksheet |

Homework task: |
All homework tasks set following on from tasks started in lesson. All work produced by students in lesson and at home, will be entered for one of the four OCR examining board assessment objectives (AOs) and is part of the GCSE. Homework includes: Artist copies and information pages (AO1) Observational drawings (AO3) Material studies & compositional designs (AO4) Final pieces (AO4) |
Resources: |
Students are issued with a booklet, containing an breakdown of each lesson and the homework set. Specialist vocabulary, how to annotate and writing about artist examples are included, as is the OCR assessment criteria and assessment sheets for each assessment. We work from slide presentations in lessons (which are shared Google Classroom after each lesson/weekly) which contain instructions, examples and videos/modelling. |
